The Cobratec Medium Red FS3 starts from a high-grade aluminum alloy handle that feels solid in your hand and painted in a durable matte finish. The knife handle also feels great in your hand due to its size (4.5 in) being just enough not to be too big or too small.

What is D2 steel?

With good edge retention, toughness, and sharpen ability, D2 has been a popular knife tool steel dating back to WWII, and for good reason. This is one of the most common steels used in knife manufacturing. D2 steel is much harder and other steel and holds a great edge. Getting the knife wet will not rust this blade steel. As with all steel, some rust will occur if submerged for long periods of time. Be sure to keep a light coat of oil on the blade to ensure a lifetime of use.
