The Cobratec Cerakote Red OTF starts from a high-grade aluminum alloy handle that feels solid in your hand and painted in a durable cerakote finish. The Cerakote ceramic coating enhances abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and chemical resistance to the handle.
The knife handle also feels great in your hand due to its size (4.25 in) being just enough not to be too big or too small.
Weighing in at just over 4.5 ounces, this knife will not add extra bulk to your pocket. This knife has an Cerakoted aluminum handle with a D2 steel blade.

What is D2 steel?
With good edge retention, toughness, and sharpen ability, D2 has been a popular knife tool steel dating back to WWII, and for good reason. This is one of the most common steels used in knife manufacturing. D2 steel is much harder and other steel and holds a great edge. Be sure to use proper knife sharpening technics and tools to keep a sharp edge.
Getting the knife wet will not rust this blade steel. As with all steel, some rust will occur if submerged for long periods of time. Be sure to keep a light coat of oil on the blade to ensure a lifetime of use.

Warranty Registration
Upon receiving your Cobratec Cerakote Red OTF, it is important you follow the registration process here. The Cobratec warranty registration must be completed within 30 days of purchase to verify ownership. To return a knife under warranty, you must have completed the warranty registration. If you have any additional questions, please them directly.
Standard Knife Usage
The Cobratec warranty doesn't cover the following: Loss, damage caused by abuse, neglect, accidents, improper blade sharpening, improper disassembly, or normal paint wear and tear.
Damaged In Shipment
Orders are carefully packed to prevent damage during shipping. If your products arrive and were clearly damaged during the shipping process, please contact the shipping company (Fed Ex, UPS, USPS) immediately to file a claim. It's also important that you keep the box the items were shipped in because the shipping company may send a representative to review the claim.
If the shipping company is unable to process the claim, please email or call us here, to inform us of the situation and we will do our best to assist you with the claim.
