Check out the Ruger 57 video.
Ruger was founded in 1949 by two people Alexander McCormick Sturm and William B. Ruger. With its humble beginnings, the duo started the company in a small machine shop in Southport, Connecticut. Ruger manufactures a large line of firearms that include rifles, shotguns, and pistols.
To this day the company continues to dominate the 10/22 market. The 10/22 is very popular due to its reputation for being relatively inexpensive and of high quality. As a result, a wealth of after-market accessories and parts were made available for it, which has further increased its popularity.
The availability and variety of after-market parts make it possible to build a 10/22 using only these parts; most of which are marketed to target shooters and hunters.
Since December 2019 they started manufacturing the Ruger 57. You can bet this pistol will be around for years to come as well as many accessories to go along with it.

The 5.7x28 MM Cartridge
5.7×28mm is a small-caliber, high-velocity, smokeless powder, rebated rim, bottlenecked centerfire cartridge designed for handgun and personal defense weapon (PDW) uses manufactured by FN Herstal and now Ruger!
It is similar in length to the .22 WMR (5.7×27mm) and to some degree similar also to .22 Hornet or .22 K-Hornet.
Unlike many new cartridges, it has no parent case; the complete package was developed from scratch by FN.
